For several years, former Danish X Factor winner Linda Andrews has gone with the idea of putting together a band of exquisite and ambitious musicians, where it is not forbidden to think big, make music for adults and draw inspiration from names like Chaka Khan, Incognito, The Brand New Heavies, Dirty Loops and Bruno Mars. And in 2022 The LAB Inc. became reality. (LAB = Linda Andrews Band)
The LAB Inc. is an ambitious and uncompromising musical project. The music is created by a passionate joint effort with no limitations, allowing each band member to shine to the max, while at the same time challenging both themselves and each other in a super tight and very international expression.
The music style is Twisted Pop: A stupendous, high-energetic and playful concoction of Pop/Soul/Funk.
Paying homage to the mantra “More is More”, The LAB’s distinct hallmark is a complex composition of beats, breaks and surprising chords − all fronted by Linda Andrews’ charismatic power vocals.
